What is the difference between the 4-day and 5-day Golden Triangle tour?

The 4-day tour covers Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur at a comfortable pace. The 5-day tour adds two major extras — Chokhi Dhani cultural village on your first evening in Jaipur, and Fatehpur Sikri (the UNESCO Mughal ghost capital) and Baby Taj on the drive from Jaipur to Agra. The 5-day version is ideal for first-time visitors who want the complete Golden Triangle experience without rushing.

What is Chokhi Dhani and why is it on this tour?

Chokhi Dhani is Jaipur's most famous cultural village — a vibrant evening of Rajasthani folk dance, puppet shows, live music, camel rides, and a traditional Rajasthani dinner. It is the perfect first-night experience on the Golden Triangle, giving you an authentic taste of Rajasthan's culture before the main sightseeing begins the next morning.

Is Fatehpur Sikri worth visiting on the Golden Triangle?

Absolutely. Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World Heritage Site — the perfectly preserved abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. It sits on the Jaipur–Agra highway making it a natural stop on Day 3. Most 3-day and 4-day tours skip it due to time constraints, which is one of the key advantages of choosing the 5-day version.

What is the best time of year for a 5-day Golden Triangle tour?

October to March is ideal — temperatures between 10°C and 25°C make outdoor sightseeing comfortable across all five cities and monuments. April to June is very hot. July to September is monsoon season — lush and atmospheric but with occasional heavy rain. December and January can bring morning fog in Agra that may affect Taj Mahal visibility at sunrise.

Is the entire 5-day Golden Triangle tour by private car?

Yes — the entire tour is by private AC car with a dedicated chauffeur. Delhi to Jaipur takes approximately 5 hours. Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri takes approximately 5–6 hours. Agra to Delhi takes approximately 3–4 hours via the Yamuna Expressway. All intercity drives are included with no shared vehicles.

Can I customise the 5-day Golden Triangle itinerary?

Yes — this is a fully private tour. You can swap Chokhi Dhani for a Nahargarh Fort sunset, add a Ranthambore tiger safari as a Day 3 detour, or extend to a 6-day or 7-day tour to include Pushkar or Udaipur. Fill out the enquiry form and our team will build your personalised itinerary within 24 hours.

Is hotel accommodation included?

Hotel accommodation is optional — choose to add it when booking. Four nights are needed — two in Jaipur, one in Agra, one in Delhi. We work with 3-star, 4-star, and luxury heritage properties across all three cities.
